The maps are not just an image or picture, it is a file packed full of data which allows you to drag a ball across the map to see distance from the tee or last shot, distance remaining to the center of the green, the region your ball is in such as fairway, rough, sand, green, etc… Select distance mode, then select any two points on the map to get the width and depths of greens, fairways, distances to carry hazards, etc…
